Position Description & Responsibilities:

The School of Science and Engineering at Merrimack College is seeking applicants for the position of Adjunct Lecturer in Civil Engineering for the Summer II, 2025 and Spring 2026 and future semesters. Applications in all areas of civil engineering are welcome, but applicants in the area of transportation engineering are particularly desired. Online instruction in mechanics of materials in Summer Term 2 is another area of need.

During Fall and Spring semesters, most of our courses are taught during the day, some courses can be scheduled as evening offerings to accommodate working professionals teaching as adjunct faculty members.


Position Qualifications:

M.S. or Ph.D. in an appropriate engineering discipline, with college-level teaching experience. Strong preference for candidates who also have industry experience.
