A Special Education Teacher opportunity is available at an elementary school in Garland, TX for the uping school year under a contract arrangement. This role focuses on providing tailored instructional support and fostering an inclusive learning environment for students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) aligned with students abilities and goals.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to adapt curriculum and instructional methods.
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide regular munication with parents and guardians.
- Utilize assistive technology and specialized teaching techniques to enhance learning outes.
- Ensure pliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations.
Qualifications:
- Texas Special Education certification EC-12 required
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of special education laws, instructional strategies, and assessment protocols.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to design and modify instruction based on individual learning needs.
