This full-time position seeks a dedicated Teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) support for a K-12 educational setting in Moreno Valley, CA. The role is a contract position for the uping school year, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students with hearing impairments through specialized instruction and support.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification or credentials in teaching students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Experience working with K-12 students across a diverse range of learning needs
- Strong munication skills, including proficiency in sign language preferred
- Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to ensure students academic and social success
- Conduct assessments and contribute to the development of individualized education plans
- Utilize assistive technology and munication tools as needed to enhance learning outes
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings to stay current on best practices in DHH education
