Description:
We are actively seeking a dedicated and student-centered School Psychologist to join a supportive school district in Port Saint Lucie, Florida for the 20252026 academic year. This is a full-time, contract position focused on enhancing student achievement through prehensive psychological services, collaborative intervention planning, and proactive mental health support.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services

Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings, providing insights for individualized planning

Design and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs)

Deliver individual and group counseling services to support social-emotional well-being

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop supportive educational environments

Assist with crisis intervention and support school-wide mental health initiatives
Required Qualifications:

Valid Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) certification in School Psychology

Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from a NASP-approved program

Familiarity with Florida state laws and procedures related to exceptional student education (ESE)

Strong skills in assessment, data analysis, and behavior management strategies

Prior experience working in a school setting is preferred
