A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2022-2023 school year with a focus on supporting K-12 students. This role involves working primarily within elementary school settings and managing a diverse caseload across multiple locations. The contract is for a full semester, providing continuity and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
- Provide counseling and support services to promote students' academic, social, and emotional success.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute expert insight on student needs.
- Assist in crisis intervention and positively support school-wide initiatives related to mental health and wellness.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational regulations.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads and work efficiently across several locations.
