Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid state certification or licensure in Special Education
- Experience working with higher incidence student populations, particularly those with autism and communication disorders
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and adapt educational programs tailored to meet the individual needs of students
- Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and support personnel to create comprehensive support plans
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with special education needs
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records as required by state regulations
- Assist in the training and supervision of instructional aides and support staff
