Special Education Teacher (Full-Time, K2)
Location: Bayboro, NC
Schedule: 30 hours per week
School Year: 20252026

Seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher to support students in an adaptive classroom setting in Bayboro, North Carolina. This is a full-time, on-site position working with K2nd grade students for the upcoming school year.

Position Overview:

• Adaptive classroom setting

• Approximately 68 students in the class

• Most students utilize AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices

• Three additional adults present in the classroom for support

• Collaborative and inclusive school environment

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina Special Education Teaching Certification

• Experience with or willingness to learn AAC systems

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Passion for working with early elementary students with diverse learning needs
