A full-time opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support an elementary school serving grades K-5. This contract role runs from September through December, providing services approximately 35 hours per week during the school day.
Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students within the K-5th grade caseload. The primary focus will be on identifying learning, behavioral, and emotional needs to support individualized education plans and interventions. Collaboration with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to interpret assessment results and provide actionable recommendations is essential.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid School Psychologist credential or license appropriate for Illinois.
- Proven experience conducting evaluations and assessments with elementary-aged children.
- Strong knowledge of K-5 developmental stages and educational psychology.
- Ability to communicate effectively with educators, families, and staff.
- Familiarity with state and federal special education laws and regulations.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage a caseload efficiently.
