Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SOP Writer to develop, revise, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and related documentation. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements, supporting Hunter's commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SOP Development & Revision: Create, update, and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and other controlled documents to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) across various departments to gather information and ensure procedures reflect current practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all documentation complies with relevant industry standards and regulations, including ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.
  • Document Control: Manage document version control, approval workflows, and distribution to ensure proper documentation practices are followed.
  • Training Support: Assist in the development of training materials and conduct training sessions to ensure understanding and adherence to SOPs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing, SOP development, or documentation management, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Experience in the foundry or heavy equipment industry is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with document management systems and version control practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment with occasional visits to production areas.
  • Full-time, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Engalish, Engineering, or a related field.
