A professional opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to serve a K-12 school in Morgan City, LA. This role is ideal for a licensed professional seeking a contract position for the upcoming school year, working three days per week with a flexible schedule that allows selection of preferred workdays between 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including autism and IQ assessments.
- Assist students and staff through the Student Behavior and Communication Consultation (SBCC) process.
- Administer various standardized testing procedures as part of the evaluation process.
- Provide ongoing consultation and support tailored to the needs of a small student population of approximately 500.
- Collaborate with educators and administration to support student development and learning outcomes.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience with K-12 populations and knowledge of educational and psychological assessment tools.
- Skilled in conducting autism and IQ evaluations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to support multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work independently within a flexible schedule framework.
