Job Title: School Psychologist

An opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support the mental health and educational development of students in Milton Freewater, OR. This position is designed for those who are ready to make a significant impact in an elementary school environment, fostering a positive learning experience for a diverse student population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify student needs.
  • Develop and implement targeted behavioral support plans (BSPs) in collaboration with educators and specialists.
  • Actively participate in pre-referral processes and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) meetings.
  • Provide professional guidance and support to school teams regarding student mental health and behavioral concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of student assessments and interventions.
  • Engage with families and munity resources to promote student well-being and academic success.

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral or specialist degree in school psychology.
  • Active certification or licensure in school psychology.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred, to effectively serve the local population.
  • Experience working with elementary school students and understanding of developmental psychology.
  • Strong interpersonal and munication skills for engaging with students, staff, and families.

Location:

  • Milton Freewater, OR, serving two elementary schools and one K-12 building.
