A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to support K-12 students in Tubac, AZ, for the upcoming school year. This contract position involves working closely with educators, parents, and students to promote mental health, support academic achievement, and address social-emotional needs within the school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and support services to students facing academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success.
- Offer consultation and guidance to parents and school personnel on best practices for student well-being.
- Assist with crisis intervention and prevention strategies.
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations.
- Strong knowledge of psychological testing, assessment tools, and educational laws.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Location: Tubac, Arizona
Duration: Full school year contract (NSY)
