Summary

ARBC Weekday Preschool is now hiring a full-time LEAD teacher to work Monday-Friday in our older Infant classroom. Lead teacher will work with two other teachers to engage children, maintain a loving and safe classroom, and follow all DSS licensing requirements. Duties

• Follow all DSS licensing requirements
• Feeding, diapering, interacting with children, playing on the floor
• Creating lesson plans based on SC Early Learning Standards
• Maintain individual schedules of children and/or class
• Communicating with parents throughout the day
• Cleaning throughout the day
• Relate in a positive manner with children, parents, and coworkers

Requirements

• ECD 101 Certification
• Experience working with infants
• 6 months work experience in a SC licensed childcare center
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 18 years old
• Must be able to pass DSS background check fingerprint scan
• Pass health assessment and TB test
• Complete 15 hours of training throughout the year (provided on site and paid for)
• Must have a flexible, helpful and patient nature
