We invite applications for a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology to support students and educational professionals in a K-12 school setting located in Lawrenceville, GA. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to work approximately 24 hours per week over three days, allowing for a balanced approach to both onsite and remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
- Provide individual and group counseling tailored to student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with staff.
- Work alongside educational professionals and parents to enhance student support.
- Offer crisis intervention services and ongoing support for students and families.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and create behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as needed.
Qualifications:
- Active Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) certification.
- Masters degree in psychology or a related field.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of educational laws and regulations.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively.
