Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid state licensure or certification in School Psychology.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children is preferred.
- Strong assessment and intervention skills.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals.
- Cultural petency and mitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teaching staff.
- Provide short-term counseling and support to students experiencing emotional or behavioral difficulties.
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding students mental health and academic needs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive school environment.
- Facilitate training sessions for staff on mental health awareness and best practices.
- Monitor and analyze student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
