What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement creative, interest-based lesson plans that spark curiosity and excitement for learning
  • Maintain a structured, organized classroom environment that meets state and program standards
  • Lead your co-teachers by setting a positive tone and providing guidance on daily routines and best practices
  • Foster strong relationships with children, families, and your teaching team
  • Track developmental milestones and share progress through family communication tools
  • Incorporate play-based learning that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with all childcare regulations

Requirements:What You Bring

  • Previous experience as a Lead Teacher in a licensed preschool program
  • A deep understanding of early childhood development and hands-on teaching strategies
  • Ability to create engaging, child-led lesson plans
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Meets state requirements for Lead Teachers (education and experience)
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) and maintain annual trainings
  • Maintain active supervision of all children within sight and sound at all times
  • A collaborative, positive attitude and a passion for early education
