An opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support elementary students within a dynamic school environment. This contract role spans the academic year, providing vital psychological services to enhance student learning and well-being in a Minneapolis, MN area elementary school.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology required
- Valid Minnesota State certification as a School Psychologist, or eligibility for certification
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, psychological testing, and intervention strategies
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse student populations, staff, and parents
Location: Robbinsdale, MN
Start: 2025/2026 school year
Schedule: Options for part-time or full-time employment

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate student learning and behavioral needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide direct counseling and interventions for students facing emotional and behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to design evidence-based interventions and strategies
- Support crisis intervention and assist in managing behavioral issues school-wide
- Deliver professional development and training to educators on topics such as social-emotional learning and behavior management
- Consult with parents and guardians to offer strategies for student support at home
- Help foster a positive, inclusive school environment
