What Were Looking For:
Are you a passionate School Psychologist eager to make an impact? If so, wed love to have you on our team. Heres what youll need:
- Education: Masters degree or higher from an accredited School Psychology program.
- Licensure: Active license to practice as a School Psychologist in Colorado.
- Experience: Successful completion of an internship in School Psychology.
- Language Proficiency: Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
Your Role:
As a School Psychologist, youll be instrumental in assessing and addressing students psychological and educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct Evaluations: Perform comprehensive Psychological and Psycho-Educational assessments to determine students eligibility for specialized services.
- Communicate Findings: Share evaluation results with parents and district staff, providing clear and compassionate explanations.
- Develop Interventions: Collaborate with the IEP committee to develop evidence-based strategies that address student needs and support educational success.
- Provide Therapy: Deliver therapy services as outlined in students Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Monitor Progress: Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.
- Support Team: Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team discussions to support students growth and well-being.
