A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at a K-12 school located in Augusta, ME. This contract role begins August 18th and offers the opportunity to support a diverse student population across all grade levels.
Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, interpreting data, and collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to develop effective interventions and support plans. The psychologist will provide consultation on behavioral and educational strategies, participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, and help promote a positive learning environment in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and communicate effectively with parents and staff
- Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and special education law
