We are seeking a passionate and qualified General Education English Teacher to join a dedicated school team in New Orleans, LA for the 20252026 academic year. This full-time, on-site position offers an opportunity to make a lasting impact by fostering literacy, critical thinking, and communication skills in students.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging English Language Arts instruction aligned with state standards

• Teach reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and literature across grade levels

• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students

• Assess student progress regularly and maintain accurate records

• Create a classroom environment that encourages respect, participation, and academic growth

• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student success

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in English, Education, or a related field (Masters preferred)

• Active Louisiana Teaching Certification in English or General Education (or eligibility to obtain)

• Prior teaching experience in middle or high school English preferred

• Strong classroom management and instructional skills

• Commitment to student development and academic excellence
