This position offers an opportunity for a School Psychologist to support K-12 students within a dynamic educational environment in Chandler, AZ. The role involves working with a caseload of approximately 150 special education students and pleting around 60 evaluations during the school year. The position is a full-time contract role with a mitment of 40 hours per week for the school year.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting prehensive evaluations, including required testing, and preparing detailed MET reports
- Providing clear interpretation and clarification of evaluation results to IEP team members, parents, and teachers
- Facilitating various meetings such as MET, ROED, and MDR to ensure student needs are thoroughly addressed
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to identify and implement effective strategies and interventions for students
Qualifications and experience preferred:
- Licensed or credentialed as a School Psychologist with experience in K-12 settings
- Strong ability to conduct psychoeducational assessments and write formal reports
- Excellent munication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and educators
- Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills to manage a busy caseload effectively
