An opportunity is available for a skilled occupational therapist to support K-12 students during the Extended School Year (ESY) in a school setting located in Everett, WA. This contract position focuses on providing essential therapy services to assist students in achieving their individualized education goals during the summer months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions tailored to the developmental and educational needs of K-12 students
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student progress and provide continuity of care throughout the ESY program
• Conduct assessments and document student progress in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Adapt therapy activities to acmodate classroom environments and promote functional skills that enhance academic performance

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) credential required
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in K-12 educational settings
• Familiarity with ESY services and understanding of therapeutic goals during extended school programs
• Strong munication skills for effective collaboration with school staff and families
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs in a dynamic school environment
