Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support a K-12 school located in Joliet, IL. This role focuses on evaluating and supporting students transitioning from early intervention through prehensive screening and case studies, primarily using Play-Based Assessment techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and plete 10-15 full case studies for students transitioning from early intervention.
- Lead weekly child find team meetings to review new student screening information.
- Participate in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) to address emerging student needs based on screening results.
- Screen approximately 40-50 students during the contract period.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to develop strategies that support student success.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required.
- Experience with Linders Play-Based Assessment and working with young children.
- Strong understanding of child development and psychological assessment practices.
- Ability to manage multiple case studies and screenings efficiently.
- Effective munication and teamwork skills to lead meetings and coordinate with school teams.
