We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a school district in Barre, VT for the 20252026 academic year. The ideal candidate will bring compassion, structure, and instructional expertise to meet the diverse learning needs of students with IEPs across grade levels.
Job Requirements:

Valid Vermont Educator License with Special Educator Endorsement

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Special Education or related field

Experience working with students who have varying disabilities
Job Duties:

Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs

Modify curriculum and provide accommodations as necessary

Collaborate with general education staff, parents, and related service providers

Conduct regular progress monitoring and data collection
