A school in Seguin, TX is seeking Special Education Teachers to join their team for the upcoming academic year. This opportunity includes both full-time and part-time positions, ideal for educators with a passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs, including dyslexia.
Positions Available:
- 2 Full-Time roles (Elementary level)
- 2 Part-Time roles (4-hour days, 5 days a week)
Qualifications:
- Valid EC-4 or EC-6 Certification (EC-12 certification holders are encouraged to inquire)
- Previous experience as a Dyslexia teacher is strongly preferred
- Ability to serve as a case manager for students with dyslexia
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students specific learning profiles
- Provide specialized instruction and interventions for students with dyslexia and other special education needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Manage paperwork and documentation as a case manager to ensure compliance with educational guidelines
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
