Little People's Playhouse is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Lead Teacher to join our team! Lead Teachers at LPP help to plan and implement an ongoing program of activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child enrolled in our care.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and play.
• Bring a sense of warmth, patience, and understanding to the classroom every day.
• Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with the children, families, teachers, and staff.
• Create and deliver lesson plans, implement school curriculum, and assess developmental needs of students.
• Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe classroom environment.

What's Required:

• 1+ Years of experience working with children in a professional setting
• Pass a background check
• CPR/First Aid Training & Negative TB test
• CDA / Associates in Early Childhood / 16 credits hours in field
