Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years Deaf & Hard of Hearing Specialist experience required.

Were seeking a dedicated and qualified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to join their team for the 20252026 school year. This part-time, onsite position offers a meaningful opportunity to support students with hearing impairments in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Position Highlights:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students with hearing impairments

• Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement IEPs

• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners

• Communicate regularly with families and school staff to ensure student success

What Youll Do:

• Provide individualized orientation and mobility instruction to support student independence

• Assess, plan, and deliver services that promote safe navigation in school, home, and community environments

• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure consistent student progress

• Document student goals, progress, and outcomes in accordance with IEP requirements

Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota teaching license with DHH endorsement (or eligibility to obtain)

• Experience working with K12 students with hearing impairments preferred

• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

• Commitment to supporting student independence and academic growth
