Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify student needs and develop appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with school teams during the pre-referral process to create tailored support plans.
- Participate in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) meetings to evaluate and refine strategies for student success.
- Develop and implement Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to address challenging behaviors.
- Provide guidance and support in creating and monitoring Behavior Support Plans (BSPs).
- Engage with parents, teachers, and school staff to promote understanding of student needs and available resources.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or related field.
- Licensed or credentialed as a School Psychologist in the state of Oregon.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Experience working in elementary school settings is advantageous.
- Strong munication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in using assessment tools and interpreting data to inform practices.
