Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
A contract position is available for a School Psychologist to serve in an elementary school setting. This role focuses on supporting the psychological and educational needs of students to promote their academic success and well-being throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student learning and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention strategies to support student social-emotional development
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and recommendations
- Assist in crisis intervention and behavior management as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid credential as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary-aged children
- Strong knowledge of psychological testing and assessment tools
- Ability to work collaboratively within a school environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
