Two full-time School Psychologist positions are available for the upcoming school year at a K-12 public school located in Rockford, IL. These contract roles begin on August 12 and provide opportunities to work with diverse student populations. One position requires bilingual proficiency to support a wider range of students.
Ideal candidates hold current certifications as School Psychologists and have experience working across K-12 settings. Flexibility and strong assessment and counseling skills are essential to meet the varied needs of students. The school values candidates preferences and will collaboratively develop caseloads to align with strengths and interests.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license
- Experience in K-12 school psychology services
- Proficiency in a second language preferred for bilingual role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to conduct assessments and provide counseling interventions
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to design support plans
- Provide individual and group counseling services
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success plans
- Adapt caseloads based on candidate strengths and preferences
