Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a qualified and experienced Special Education Teacher for a full-time position at a high school in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
Position Overview:
The selected educator will deliver specialized instruction and support to high school students with disabilities, manage IEPs, and collaborate with school staff to ensure compliance and success across content areas.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Provide instruction and accommodations in both resource and inclusive settings

Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers

Conduct progress monitoring and update documentation

Support student transition planning for postsecondary pathways
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or related field

Valid Oregon Teaching License with an endorsement in Special Education (e.g., Special Education: Generalist)

Minimum of one year of professional experience in a special education role

Knowledge of IDEA compliance and instructional accommodations

Strong classroom management and communication skills
