Onsite Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH) Specialist
Location: Bristol, CT
Position Type:(ASAP 06/09/2025)
Hours: 25 Hours/Week
Caseload: 8 Students

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and qualified Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher to work onsite in Bristol, CT. This is a contract position for the remainder of the 20252026 school year with a manageable caseload and strong support.
Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing

Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Conduct assessments and monitor student progress

Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student

Maintain accurate records in pliance with state and district guidelines
Requirements:
-
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Deaf Education or related field

Valid Connecticut Teaching Certification with endorsement in Deaf or Hard of Hearing (or eligibility to obtain)

Previous experience working with DHH students preferred

Strong munication and collaboration skills

Ability to work onsite in Bristol, CT
