About our school:
MINE, ME US Montessori School provides a nurturing, educational, authentic Montessori environment for children ages 6 weeks through 12 years. We are a year-round school where children are encouraged and supported to do the important lifework of becoming a fully developed, whole person who is mindful of individual, environmental, and community responsibilities.

MINE, ME US Montessori School is looking for teachers who:

• View young children as human beings deserving of thehighest respectfor their unique wisdom, thoughts, feelings, and intuition

• Enjoy the world of food and feel compelled to share with young children the joys of a high-quality culinary experience

Duties

Job duties include:

• caring for young children through safe and effective care practices
• implementing Montessori educational principles for infant education
• assisting with family-style meals
• consistent and effective communication with lead teacher and other assistants
• maintaining a clean learning environment by using safe hand-washing practices and assisting in cleaning eating, play, and sleep areas daily

Schedule:

• FULL TIME (part-time not available)
• 8-hour shift with a one-hour off-campus break
• Monday to Friday and most bank holidays
• Overtime available

Requirements

While experience teaching and/or working in a school is not necessary, we deeply value your interest in investing in young children and their education. We do look for the following as we consider candidates to join our team:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Some experience in early childhood education
• Ability to function in an active, flexible, and high volume environment
• Ability to tolerate the year-round outdoor environment through all weather conditions
• A clean criminal history record

• CPR/First Aid
