Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
An opportunity is available for experienced professionals specialized in addressing the psychological and educational needs of students within a K-12 environment. This contract position is based in Fishers, IN, and is focused on providing essential support and services to enhance student well-being and learning outes for the entire school year.
Qualifications:
- Valid state certification or licensure in School Psychology
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a school setting
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of behavioral interventions and support strategies
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement IEPs
- Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing psychological difficulties
- Facilitate crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies
- Conduct professional development workshops for staff on mental health topics
- Monitor and analyze student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records and documentation
