Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be considered:

Hold a Masters or higher degree in School Psychology or a closely related field

Possess a valid and active Texas licensure issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (TSBEP) or Texas Education Agency (TEA) as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP)

Have verifiable experience working as a School Psychologist in a school-based or educational setting
-
Pass required background checks and fingerprinting through the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS)
-
Meet all Texas Education Agency (TEA) employment standards, including clearance through the Educator Certification Online System (ECOS)

Key Responsibilities
As a School Psychologist, your primary responsibilities may include:

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
-
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to determine eligibility for special education services

Support the development and implementation of IEPs
-
Provide direct and indirect services to students, including counseling and consultation
-
Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to support students academic and emotional success
-
Help design interventions and monitor student progress
-
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to student mental health and special education
