Location: Bishop, Texas 78363 (on the Celanese site)
Duration: 10 - 12 weeks (Summer with potential to extend into part time in the fall)
Shift Timing: 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM (M- F)
Pay rate: $18 - $20/hour
Job type: 100% onsite
Position Overview
Our company is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Summer Intern to join our Supply Chain team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply chain management and to contribute to various projects that support our operations. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, possess strong analytical skills, and have a keen interest in supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the analysis and optimization of supply chain processes
Support inventory management and control activities
Collaborate with team members to improve logistics and distribution strategies
Participate in data collection and analysis for supply chain projects
Help maintain accurate records of supply chain transactions
Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations
Engage in cross-functional team meetings and initiatives
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Preferred Qualifications
Previous internship or work experience in supply chain or logistics
Familiarity with supply chain software and tools
Knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools
