Approximately 50-60 evaluations per year

Opportunity to lead building MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) teams/student intervention teams (if full-time position)
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations for students, including cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral assessments, to determine eligibility for special education services and inform intervention planning.

Interpret assessment results and communicate findings clearly and concisely to parents, teachers, and other team members through written reports and verbal presentations.

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and other specialists to develop and implement effective individualized education programs (IEPs) and intervention strategies.

Provide consultation and guidance to school staff on topics such as behavior management, academic interventions, crisis intervention, and student support strategies.

Participate as a vital member of multidisciplinary teams, contributing to data-based decision-making for student support.

For full-time position: Lead building MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) teams, facilitating student intervention processes and promoting a proactive approach to student success.

Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Contribute to a positive school climate and foster strong connections between home, school, and community.

Education & Certification Requirements:

Current Minnesota State Licensure as a School Psychologist.

A state-approved specialist-level degree in school psychology, or the equivalent, which includes at least 60 semester credit hours and a 1200-hour internship from an Educator Preparation Institution (EPI).
