Employment Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)
Contract Duration: August 26, 2025 June 12, 2026
Work Setting: Onsite only

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to provide instruction and support for a specialized self-contained classroom serving low cognitive, high-need students. This full-time role requires dedication to meeting the unique needs of this student population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with low cognitive abilities and high needs

• Manage and support a self-contained caseload

• Collaborate with staff and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

• Maintain accurate documentation and monitor student progress

• Create a safe and supportive learning environment

Caseload:

• Specialized self-contained students with low cognitive and high needs

Qualifications:

• Active Special Education (SPED) certification/license in Oregon required

• Experience working with high-need, low cognitive students preferred

• Strong munication and classroom management skills
