A K-12 school in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a contract position during the upcoming school year. This role involves providing essential psychological services to support student learning and well-being in a dynamic educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational assessments to identify students' cognitive, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal regulations regarding student services
Qualifications:
- Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 student populations
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
