Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist license
- Experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and staff
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Location:
- Des Plaines, IL
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and therapeutic services to students
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement behavioral interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Consult with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs
- Facilitate crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies
- Ensure compliance with all school and state regulations regarding psychological services

This position is for the full school year, serving a caseload of elementary students in grades 4 and 5, with hours from 8 AM to 3:45 PM.
