Honeycomb Learning Academy is a childcare center located near Thornton Elementary School is actively looking for teachers for all ages. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Developing and implementing experiences and activities for the children
- Building children's self-esteem, comforting children, and implementing positive discipline when required
- Communicating with parents
- Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children (kneel, bend, squat and lift up to 40lbs)
- Attend all staff development meetings.
- Provide basic care diaper changes, potty training, feedings, etc.
- Ensuring classrooms are clean, safe and well maintained daily.
Requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail
- Time management skills
- Effective communication skills
- Punctuality and consistent attendance
- Professional appearance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals who are at least 18 and have:
- High school or GED (Required)
- Ability to pass a criminal background check (Required)
- CPR or First Aid certified or be willing to become certified.
- Two years of early childhood experience (Preferred)
Schedule:
- Full-Time Shift Monday-Friday 9:30am-6pm
