An opportunity is available for experienced Special Education Teachers specializing in Moderate/Severe and Mild/Moderate disabilities for the 2024-2025 school year. This direct hire position is located near Riverside, CA, within a dynamic school setting dedicated to supporting students with special needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs.
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers to foster inclusive and supportive classroom environments.
- Regularly monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies to maximize learning outes.
- Deliver direct instruction and specialized support to students with a range of disabilities.
- Maintain open munication with students, parents, and staff regarding progress and any special needs.
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and engage in multidisciplinary team efforts.
- Ensure accurate documentation and pliance with educational standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or related discipline; Masters degree preferred.
- Valid California teaching credential with Special Education authorization.
- Proven experience teaching students with moderate/severe or mild/moderate disabilities.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within diverse teams and school personnel.
