A full-time Special Education teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at a K-12 educational institution in Laurel, Montana. This role focuses on supporting students with diverse learning needs through personalized and inclusive teaching strategies within the general education science curriculum.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Montana Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience in delivering instruction in general education and science settings preferred
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment
- Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and educational teams
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement instructional plans tailored to meet the needs of students with disabilities in science and general education
- Collaborate with general education teachers to integrate special education services effectively
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on student goals and accommodations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
Location: Onsite position based in Laurel, MT
Details regarding caseload and specific working hours will be provided as they become available. This position requires candidates to be present onsite throughout the school year.
