An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher specializing in elementary education to provide push-in and pull-out services. This role is based in Florissant, MO, within an elementary school setting, for the uping school year under a contract agreement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs within inclusive classroom environments.
- Implement push-in services by collaborating with general education teachers to support students directly in the classroom.
- Conduct pull-out sessions for targeted skill development and intervention.
- Develop and modify Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student goals and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and school staff to promote student success.
- Participate in professional development and school meetings as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children within inclusive and specialized settings.
- Knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, and differentiated instructional methods.
- Strong munication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse student needs.
