Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to join a supportive school district near Fort Walton Beach, Florida for the 20252026 school year. This is a full-time, onsite position working with a K12 student caseload.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct instruction and consultative services to students with visual impairments

Adapt curriculum and materials to meet the individual needs of students

Collaborate with general and special education staff, families, and service providers

Utilize Braille, large print, and assistive technology to enhance student learning

Participate in IEP development and progress monitoring
Requirements:

Active Florida TVI Certification
-
Experience with K12 caseloads
-
Proficiency in assistive technology and adaptive materials
-
Braille knowledge preferred
-
Commitment to working onsite throughout the school year
