This position offers an opportunity to provide Physical Education instruction to elementary students from kindergarten through fifth grade. The role is based in Holcomb, Kansas, within a supportive elementary school environment. The contract runs from August 2025 through May 2026, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, typically 8 hours per day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Physical Education lessons to K5 students
- Manage small class sizes to foster individualized attention
- Utilize excellent school facilities to enhance student learning experiences
- Collaborate with support staff to create a positive and effective learning environment
- Participate in available coaching opportunities to further support student development
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Education or related field (minimum requirement)
- Kansas Teaching License or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Physical Education endorsement is mandatory
- Candidates in Transition to Teaching programs will be considered
- Strong communication skills and effective classroom management techniques
