Soliant is seeking a passionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to lead an Essential Academics classroom serving middle and high school students for the 20252026 school year. This position is focused on delivering specialized instruction in a structured setting for students with moderate to significant cognitive and academic needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized and small-group instruction aligned with IEP goals

Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with support staff and families

Create a structured and supportive classroom environment

Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers

Adapt academic content to meet student needs in essential academics

Monitor student progress and maintain pliance with state and federal guidelines
Qualifications:

Valid Texas Special Education Certification

Experience in a self-contained or essential academics classroom is preferred

Strong behavior management, munication, and organizational skills

Familiarity with modified curriculum and life skills instruction a plus
Schedule and Location:

This position requires a mitment of 37.5hours per week
