Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years deaf & hard of hearing experience required.
A unique opportunity is available for dedicated professionals specializing in deaf and hard of hearing education. This contract position is based in San Antonio, TX, within a K-12 school setting, and is focused on providing exceptional support and instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing for the 2025-2026 school year.
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas teaching certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
- Strong knowledge of best practices in teaching students with hearing impairments.
- Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and other communication methods.
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings, preferred.
- Ability to create and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver instructional plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
