This contract role spans the full academic year, starting August 5, 2024, and concluding May 22, 2025, with a mitment of 37.5 hours per week. The position focuses on developing individualized education programs (IEPs) and progress monitoring to meet the unique needs of each student.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and develop prehensive IEPs aligned with state and federal guidelines.
- Monitor student progress to adjust instructional strategies and ensure positive educational outes.
- Manage a caseload of middle school students requiring specialized instructional support.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to implement effective individualized plans.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student services and pliance.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education certification or licensure relevant to middle school education.
- Experience writing IEPs and conducting progress monitoring is essential.
- Strong knowledge of disability categories and educational strategies.
