As a Teacher of the Visually Impaired, youll work closely with students who are blind or visually impaired, providing specialized instruction tailored to their unique learning styles. This includes braille literacy, adaptive technology training, and collaboration with educators and families to promote inclusive education.
To qualify in Florida, candidates must hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate with an endorsement in Visually Impaired. Experience with assistive technology, braille instruction, and supporting students in inclusive classroom settings is strongly preferred.
